New SAT Changes Aim to Level the Playing Field
Wed Mar 5, 2014
I do no know what the changes in this test will be but I believe that they do little to determine who will graduate from college. I did not do well on this test, yet I graduated from college with honors (and I paid my own way). My husband didn't do well either and he graduated too. We bo …
Obamacare Foes to Newly Insured: Put Down the Donut
Thu Feb 6, 2014
Yes there will always be people who do not take care of themselves, however there are also people who do everything right and still get sick and even sometimes become overweight for no apparent reason, only to discover that they have thryroid disease (which runs in some families). Tell them th …
Harry Smith: Anglers Fish for the Big One
Wed Feb 5, 2014
I agreee, this format is not easy to navigate and it is not attactive at all. It is too commercial. I want news not giant pictures. I don't mind a few changes now and then but this is ridiculous. I too am going to look for another homepage.
Exclusive Inside Story on Bieber's 'Pot' Plane
Tue Feb 4, 2014
I agree with those who say that this new format is awful. It is not the speed that bothers me, my internet is very fast, it is the amount of large pictures as opposed to actual information that is a pain in the neck. It is difficult to navigate and not enjoyable to explore. I …
From a wagon of fat to a town torn apart, a look back at Oprah's impact at 60

Why are some of you people being so negative? This woman came from nothing and has done well for herself. She has helped others along the way, like Nate Berkus, Dr. Phil, Dr. Oz and many others. You may not like her, or them, but other people do. Maybe every topi …

Mon Jan 20, 2014
I have a vhs copy of Mary Martin as Peter Pan and I also have an orginal cast recording. It was a magical show for me. In fact the first play I ever saw was Peter Pan with a girl playing the part. I even saw Cathy Rigby play the part and she was fine. She was not a bad actres …
Former Homeland Security chief hired to represent bridge honcho in New Jersey probe
Sun Jan 19, 2014
If these people were so innocent they would not lawyer up so quickly. They would provide everything that is being asked for and simply tell the truth. But they can't do that so they must hire lawyers. I hope that one of these people gets immunity and tells the truth. Let the dominos fall.
What's it cost to have a baby? Try $3,000 — or $37,000
Wed Jan 15, 2014
In reply to: Donna-438713 #6The Cleveland Clinic claims to be be non profit, yet their prices are high. My son and his wife had their baby in October and the bills keep coming. Every time they call for a final bill they are told that they are paid up and all is good. Then they get …
Christie: 'Good and productive meeting' with Dem mayor
Thu Jan 9, 2014
If Mr. Christie actually cared about the people of his state he would have had this problem fixed immediately. He would have called the proper people and demanded that the bridge lanes be opened right away. Instead he did nothing. He let it go on for days with full knowledge of the situation.
